Tamron USA Gears Up for Holiday Season with Savings on its Two Newest Lenses

Purchasers can save $25 on a Tamron AF17-50mm VC Zoom and Tamron AF60mm F2 1:1 Macro through the end of the year

Article rating: 2.00

October 15, 2009, Commack, NY— Tamron USA, Inc announced today a special mail-in rebate offer of $25 on its two newest lenses: SP AF17-50mm F/2.8 XR VC Di II LD Aspherical IF (model B005) and SP AF60mm F/2.0 Di II LD IF 1:1 Macro (model G005). The two new lenses are designed for APS-C size DSLRs and are available in Canon, Nikon and Sony (model G005 only) mounts. The rebate is valid on purchases of these lenses made by US residents at an authorized Tamron USA retailer from 10/15/09 through 12/31/09.

The newly announced rebates are in addition to the special rebates announced 8/15/09 aimed at celebrating the company’s latest accomplishments of awards and anniversaries. The US subsidiary of the Japanese owned company marks its 30th year since opening the US headquarters in Port Washington, NY in 1979.  And the company just earned its 11th EISA award, this time for the best-selling AF18-270mm VC lens— the world’s only 15X zoom made for digital SLR cameras with small sensors. Consumers receive $70 back on the 18-270mm VC and $60 on the 18-200mm, both popular and award-winning all-in-one zooms, when purchased between 8/15/09~12/31/09.

poorly written; not enough description for purchasing decision; what is aperature, for full size or aps or reduced size sensor slr; image stablization; how much; special optics; lens test; small 4 point type; running sentences; need a graphic artist with less that 20/20 vision. Too many hurdles. I stick with Canon lenses. Take a look at their visuals.
