Rajasthan, India With his Panasonic FZ50, photographer Suresh Shivdasani recently captured the colorful flavor of this unique region. Article rating: 5.67

Photographer Suresh Shivdasani has been shooting and training fellow photographers for over 35 years.  He recently retired from owning and operating an exclusive photography service for skiers, families, and corporate visitors to the Washington, DC area.  Shivdasani recently affiliated with the prestigious "Washington Photo Safari" program, where he leads digital and travel photography workshops.  Below are some images taken during a three week workshop in Rajasthan, India with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50. 

Shivdasani remarks about the trip and his camera:

"The range of professional features on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 made it possible to travel very light and the fixed 12X zoom lens proved to be a boon in the dusty areas we traveled through.

"The itinerary included some of the most colorful and historic parts of the province-- from palaces and forts to small towns and villages. My objective was to observe the vast kaleidoscope of India, and capture not only its historic monuments, but also the dignity and rituals of the lives of simple people.
