There is nothing more satisfying that a fabulous portrait. The key is to make your subject feel as comfortable as possible. Talk to them, laugh with them. I took mine out to lunch dressed up! The expressions and emotions you will convey can make some of your most memorable portraits. We sat in a restaurant across from each other at a table by the window. Ah, the trick to the most natural portraits is actually light. My cute little subject had no idea when the shutter was being released because there was no intrusive flash. 

The soft light of the window allowed me to shoot away as we talked, laughed, even ate our lunch. The next time you are hoping to make some natural portraits, take your camera and your subject to lunch!
