Photography enthusiast and Actor Kyle MacLachlan has been a star on stage, as well as the big and small screens for well on twenty years. You may know him as Trey MacDougal from Sex and the City, or as FBI Special Agent Dale Bartholomew Cooper from Twin Peaks. More recently, MacLachlan has starred as the spirit of Cary Grant in the critically acclaimed Touch of Pink, as well as the TNT movie The Librarian: Quest for the Spear. While on location for The Librarian, Kyle took his time out to donate some of his photos from his travels around the globe taken with his Sony Qualia digital camera to TakeGreatPictures.com. Enjoy!

"Photography has been a hobby of mine for a long time now," MacLachlan told TakeGreatPictures.com. "From architectural photography to aerial shots like this to capturing wonderful views from my travels abroad, taking photos has been a great way to capture and share my memories with others."

"I enjoy taking pictures at home as well as during travels for vacation or work," says MacLachlan. "I bring the camera out on the golf course with me and also enjoy recording memories from the clubhouse."

"Russia was an absolutely amazing place to visit. The buildings there have such an imposing, yet artistic presence to them that I just couldn't resist taking picture after picture while I was there."

"During downtime in Thailand, where I'm shooting for a new miniseries, I like to go offset to take photos of the area and other people who are involved with the show."

"It was a great kick to be part of Sony's Qualia exhibition. The camera is amazing and I bring it with me all the time."

their performance in Twin Peaks as Cooper was sensational. I bought the box with two seasons on DVD and revising the best job you have done it. Congratulations for pics and love for your dogs!. I'm your fan!

Kyle Mac Lachlan, i always have difficulties to remember your name, but i'm very impressed by your curriculum vitae. You are a great actor, and i especially liked you as Dale Cooper.

what type of camera and filter were you using for the second and fourteenth picture?Those pictures are for the most part crystal clear and i take similar photos and cannot get the same result with my cannon power shot SX130 (IS).
