During the 4 day show it is estimated over 650 people stopped to talk, ask questions, look at sponsors equipment and pick up literature and magazines. 266 of these people filled out questionnaires for the PMDA survey. This years booth offered something for everyone. Much attention was given to the Digital SLR’s on display as well as the waterproof cameras and cases. Image stabilized binoculars and cameras were of particular interest to these sailing enthusiasts. ![]() © 2007 Art Netzer

A main attraction at this show is the Discover Sailing Center where there are plenty of activities for young "and old" sailors. One such activity was boat building classes for children where there an actual wooden boat is built from start to finish! There are model sailboat races in a large pond with large fans powering the remote controlled sailboats. All this surrounded by a backround of 36 to 49 foot sailboats proudly on display. Other booths were selling everything related to sail-boating. ![]() © 2007 Art Netzer

Be it electronics, sailing art, clothing, literature, atomic tape, every type of accessory, colorful booths attracted a constant flow of people. At the PIB the still most popular questions are "If items are not for sale then what are you doing here?" or "which camera do we recommend" and "why can’t I buy one" When explanations are given the conversation and attitudes changes completely. ![]() © 2007 Art Netzer

It is now quite common for Art and Gloria Netzer, who work the PIB to instruct people as to how to use the new camera they just got for Christmas? ![]() © 2007 Art Netzer
No visit to Philadelphia should be without a visit to the Reading Terminal Market which is actually part of the Convention Center complex. The old railroad terminal has evolved into a huge market, selling food in it’s raw form as well as numerous eating concessions. A feast for the hungry convention exhibitors and attendees. It was a great show any way you slice it! ![]() © 2007 Art Netzer
