Night Vision Sometimes Brandon's work takes him away from NYC - this week he was in Quantico, VA and learned some interesting stuff about night-vision technology.

This week I had some work down at the FBI in Quantico, VA.   One of the items I saw there was a night-vision adapter for cameras which is similar to the one they use on helmets and sniper rifles in Iraq or wherever.  Think about a sniper in Iraq looking around from 1/2 a mile away with this.  There is magnification available....

There were lots of other technologies which were wild to hear about.  If it's electronic - someone else can probably control it remotely. A calming thought for the day.
