Stanley Kubrick, the acclaimed American director of such movies as Dr. Strangelove, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and A Clockwork Orange, was not only a master of motion pictures, but of photography as well. Stanley Kubrick’s first job came as a photographer for LOOK Magazine in 1945 where he became the youngest staff photographer in the magazine’s history. He continued to work for the magazine until 1950 when he left to pursue filmmaking.
