After using many many damned MTS Converters, last I am convinced that Moyea MTS Converter for Mac found via Google is the most powerful one. It can convert any types of MTS file videos to other video formats like mp4, avi, wmv,mkv,mod,flv and etc. It runs very well on Mac computer. What's more, this converter provides Multi track choice for some DVD videos. you can replace the original audio with other nice music as you wish. Hope it is of great help for you if you need it.:)
