OJOS nuevios - Pentax "HANDS" Photo Series

The students of OJOS nuevos weren't expressly given a photo assignment about photographing people's hands, but seemed naturally inclined to do so.

It was apparent during the editing process that the girls had a lot of hand imagery. Once in a while, the girls were reminded to zone in on shooting someone's hands, but for the most part they were naturally drawn to doing it. They viewed slide shows of photographs of the human body and were also guided to take pictures of details in general.  They were especially attracted to photographing their own hand prints.
