Light:
The important thing with outdoor shooting is to “WAIT FOR THE LIGHT”. This is one of the best habits for a photographer - sit and watch, waiting for the best light. You should walk around with your camera and your tripod, look for the best scene and watch how the light is moving.  Sometimes it is necessary to go back to the location later. It's also a good idea to have is a compass to check out where the sun could be in a couple of hours.

Location:
I chose the “Styrian Apple Route” in Austria for these Spring Images.
The best views are on the Route B54 and L361 from the village “Gleisdorf” to the village “Puch bei Weiz” (see the map or visit www.apfelstrasse.at for more information).

The best time is from the end of April to the beginning of May - a million fruit trees lining the 25km Styrian Apple Route begin to blossom and the road is blanketed in white and pink clouds of Apple Tree Blossoms. Also on the route are many traditional rustic taverns (called Mostschenke or Buschenschenke).  There you can get very special local food and drinks and you are be served by nice local people (you can certainly get lots of great faces - old farmers, children, beautiful young girls - for shooting portraits too in this are).
