CHAPTER ONE:

"A BONE TO PICK"

(and not the one off the table)

"Hi, I'm Ender and I'm, .....well? .......I'm misunderstood"

"I live at this OK house and the people are nice, I guess...
but, what I really want...is to be taken seriously, you know...... like a watch dog!"

"I mean, I'm a special dog....? Look,? I have breeding, damnit!"

"Sure, I lose control once in a?while... who doesn't?"

" But if they would just give me a chance... i could show 'em how brave I am. Sometimes, I act mysterious and just sit up on the hill.... you know... like a real watch dog. I think I'm pretty tough ...but then that little cutie calls my name & I just go to pieces like a puppy or a big dumb ox"
