Think Small by Elinor Stecker-Orel Perfect Little Picture Frames. |
Large photographs can be impressive, but all the photographs you hang on your walls need not be so grand. Be daring and go the other way. A conversation-provoking assemblage of small framed photos willl look wonderful on a narrow wall area. Small means anywhere from about one-inch wide to three-and-a-half inches wide. You'll find tiny frames in gift stores, framing departments, and craft shops. But use your imagination and try other things, such as an old watch, Christmas-tree ornaments, or supports intended for making wreaths. Or glue pictures onto jar covers

and film-cartridge tops. For added interest, hang small mirrors and other decorative objects along with your photos, and keep adding to the wall as inspiration strikes.
Added bonus: The little frames are a way to use sections of larger photos that you might have thrown away.
