I guess I've been hooked on photography since I bought my first rangefinder camera back in the early 70's. And I think that starting off with the basics of learning about light and exposure are important. As I grew into the hobby more and graduated to better and more sophisticated equipment, I was able to try and develop an eye for the craft. I enjoy photography because it is a great creative outlet. I think that Ansel Adems was one of the great photographers of our time. I have tried to emulate his practice of "seeing" a photograph in your mind and try and make the camera let the world "see" what you see. And at one time I used to shoot almost entirely in black and white because I believe that good black and white photos are actually harder to achieve (because of the tonal balances), than color photos. I am now helping my wife to gain the same love for this hobby that I have always enjoyed. And she is doing quite nicely. ![]() © 2005 Rick Bianco ![]() © 2005 Rick Bianco ![]() © 2005 Rick Bianco ![]() © 2005 Rick Bianco ![]() © 2005 Rick Bianco ![]() © 2005 Rick Bianco ![]() © 2005 Rick Bianco ![]() © 2005 Rick Bianco
