I enjoy photography because it allows me to see the world through the camera lens.  After years of doing so, I find it hard to simply look at things-I mentally frame them!  There is great joy in capturing views to remember and share with others.

Comments About This Article
I think this article is great, especially for beginners like me and hope there would be more like it. The pictures are outstanding and hope in the future, I will be able to take pictures as professional as the ones i've seen today. Please keep up the great work. Thank you.

You have some great shots. My Fav. is the snow. I also use Canon. I have a EOS DIgital Rebel XT, w/various lenses, and filters. Keep up the great work, and watch your horizons for straightness.

Gee, I thought you may have put my picture there. All of them are great.

The images are well balanced. The use of natural lighting is excellent. The contrast superbly highlights the story told by the photographs. The angles are well used to define the importance of the subject.
My favorite is the Cold Winter Day. The stillness of the creek and the stark contrast of the fresh Snow to the Tree on a Grey day leave you with a serene feeling.
