2003 The Empire State Building
Anything this good is worth the wait! What more can be said about a feeling, a thrill and a memory that stays with you for the rest of your life. A person once said, "You can live in New York all your life, but until you see it from the top of the Empire State Building, you haven't seen the city." This is a great place to bring the family - and an especially amazing place to witness the wonder in a child's eyes the first time he gazes from horizon to horizon taking in this metropolis of millions. This is a truly amazing place.

War and oppression in China led to the celebration of the Lantern & Moon Cake festival on the 15th day of the eight month of the lunar calendar. The occasion marks a successful rebellion against the Mongol rulers in 14th century China. Secret messages were hidden inside moon cakes, and lanterns were used at night as signals of the plot against the Mongols. Join in the lantern competitions and processions and savour the many varieties of moon cakes available across the country.

2003 Grand Canyon National Park
Welcome to Grand Canyon National Park, a place of tremendous beauty, peace, and scenic grandeur. Grand Canyon holds an important position in our American heritage and Western legacy, in addition to being of intense natural and cultural interest. Just over 100 years ago the first train arrived at the South Rim, providing an impetus for increased development. In 1995 the park approved a General Management Plan to guide development into the Twenty-first Century. The newly opened Canyon View Information Plaza should be one of the first stops on your visit.
Morocco is the tantalising lower lip on the mouth of the Mediterranean Sea, a Muslim land so rich in mystique it seems to hover like a magic carpet somewhere between myth and reality. Tangier, Casablanca, Marrakesh...just the names of these cities and towns should stir a hint of spice in the nostrils of the most geographically challenged. Many Moroccan destinations have been mythologised, and for good reason, but the more jaded traveller may well moan about the extinction of the 'real' Morocco. Still others will extol the country's unique living history, its shimmering light, its art. The truth lies somewhere in between.

For more than 200 years, Tahiti has represented the tropical-paradise myth for Europeans, but ask almost anyone about French Polynesia and they will look at you blankly. Tahiti is, in fact, just one island in one of the five island groups that make up French Polynesia. It's the region's biggest, most famous and historically interesting island, but the glossy pictures of aqua-blue seas and palm-fringed beaches that you see in travel agents' windows are almost certainly some other French Polynesian island.
