As Official Photographer for the Madison Square Garden in New York City, George Kalinsky has made an exciting career of photographing sports winners and losers. Recently, Kalinsky was winner himself: He won the coveted "Photographer of the Year" titled granted by the Photo Manufacturers and Distributors Association. Kalinsky says sports photography is something everyone can do by following a few simple rules and tips. AS A PHOTOGRAPHER, GEORGE KALINSKY IS THE CHAMP. - Frank Sinatra Famous for his photographs of sports figures and entertainers, George Kalinsky has become one of the most well known and admired artists in his field. His pictures have appeared in publications like Time, Life, People, Esquire, New York, Sports Illustrated and Newsweek. He is Special Photographer to the New York Jets and New York Mets. Recent assignments have included the U.S. Senior Open Championship (Spring 2000) that was sponsored by Olympus Corp.
