For those of you who are daunted by the thought of tinkering with Photoshop, fear not!  Russ Burden has created a step-by-step slideshow that demonstrates how to use Nik Software's "Dynamic Skin Softener" to go from the image on the left to the image on the right in no time at all.  Just click on the screenshot below to start the slideshow:

Russ also had the following to say about Nik's line of plug-ins in general:

"The Nik line of filters makes my workflow so much easier and more efficient. With the Complete edition, basically every effect I would want to apply to my images is available and can be completed, in many cases, in less than two minutes. The fact that every effect is accompanied by a layer mask, selectively applying the filter to specific areas of the photograph is a time saver and shows that Nik put a lot of thought into the creation of the software. I don't know how I ever got along without it."

Only problem is my inability to view the comments dialogues, as the orange type was far too small to be legible. Thanks!
