Since December 2005, photographer Lindy Drew has been Volunteering at Hogar Nuestra Señora de la Paz (NSDLP) outside of Santiago de Chile through the non-profit organization VEGlobal (www.ve-global.org). For the past few months, Drew has been running the OJOS nuevos project, teaching photography to the girls living at the hogar. What’s next for OJOS nuevos?
May 24th, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. OJOS nuevos from Hogar Nuestra Señora de la Paz and Hogar Aldea María Reina will celebrate the culmination of the photo workshop with a joint exposition to share their work professionally with the community. The show will be held at the art and photography institute ARCOS in downtown Santiago. (Click the image below to see a full-size image of the postcard promoting the exposition)
